MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Opening Day for the 2019 baseball season marks a major milestone for one beer vendor at Miller Park.
Jim Krznarich is celebrating his 55th season working at the park. The 80-year-old retiree says he looks forward to every home game. When he started selling beer, it cost $0.26. Krznarich has his own personalized beer cart.
He says he plans on working at the ballpark for years to come.
“I wait to come here every day,” he said. “I have a life, I have a family… but they know, where’s g-pa? He’s at the ball game.”
Krznarich says he thinks the Brew Crew will go all the way in 2019.
