MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design will host its annual Holiday Sale Dec. 4 through 6 at 273 E. Erie St..
Jodi Eastberg, MIAD vice president for academic affairs, joined us Tuesday, Dec. 2 to talk about the sale. The event features one-of-a-kind art and design works created by MIAD students and alumni, including sculptures, paintings, photographs, jewelry and greeting cards.
A preview night Thursday, Dec. 4 includes VIP access from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and general admission from 6 to 8 p.m. for $10. Free admission is available Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Seventy percent of sale proceeds support participating student artists and designers, and 30% benefits MIAD student scholarships.
