UPDATE: MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police confirm that one person was killed in a single vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.
According to police, speed was a factor and the driver allegedly crashed into a tree.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a car crash near Sherman and Florist.
It happened shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, they arrived on scene of a crash involving a trapped occupant.
The trapped occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Milwaukee Police are investigating.
