Mequon man arrested after hitting city worker, DPW vehicle

MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Mequon Police Department confirms they are currently investigating an accident in which a man struck a DPW worker and his vehicle.

It happened around 2:22 p.m. Monday in the 5600 block of Donges Bay Rd. 

According to Mequon Police, a 51-year-old Mequon man was driving when he hit the worker, causing non-life threatening injuries. Shortly after, the man also hit the DPW city unoccupied vehicle.

The man was taken to a local hospital and arrested for causing injury while intoxicated.

The District Attorney's Office is reviewing the case.
