MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- There was a surprise honor for a Menomonee Falls sports announcer on Friday, Feb. 16.
Jerry Mislang has spent years being the voice of Menomonee Falls athletics, and now he's retiring.
"I feel pretty excited and surprised, and grateful for all the years I was allowed to announce," said Mislang.
During half time of tonight's boys' basketball game, the community recognized his years of service.
Mislang was given a plaque, thanking him for 20 years of service.
