Memorial service planned for Milwaukee pharmacist Dr. Lester Carter

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A memorial service is now planned for beloved Milwaukee pharmacist and community leader Dr. Lester Carter, and the public is invited.
Dr. Carter, who died this week at the age of 90, will be honored on Friday, Feb. 11 at Parklawn Assembly of God on Sherman Boulevard.
A two-hour public viewing starts at 4:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of prayer and praise.
Dr. Carter ran a pharmacy at 24th and Burleigh for almost half a century and his contributions to the health and wellbeing of the city have been widely saluted this week.
