Meet Julia! Autism Society Discusses Sesame Street's First Muppet With Autism

Sesame Street has a new muppet. Her name is Julia and she has autism. She first appeared on Sesame Street's Online Digital Storybook Series back in 2015. She's making her TV Debut next month.
The show's creators say they hope Julia will help children better understand other kids who have autism.
Julia's puppeteer, Stacy Gordon, has a son with autism.
CBS 58 was joined in the studio this afternoon by Emily Levine, the Executive Director at the Autism Society.
