Milwaukee County Zoo’s Wild Lights returns with expanded route
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County is getting 28 brand new buses.
They will replace MCTS buses that have been on the roads for up to 14 years.
The busses may look familiar but they have several new safety features which includes a stainless steel frame that resists the salt and corrosion of a Wisconsin winter.
They have a non-slip floor inside for passenger safety.
They have brighter LED lights so you can see them better at night.
The buses also have clean diesel engines that deliver better gas mileage.
Some of the new buses will hit the streets on Friday.
