MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A lane on I-43 NB near Silver Spring Drive was temporarily closed Friday afternoon, July 30, after a semi trailer struck a pedestrian bridge over the highway.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, equipment fell from the trailer, striking two passing vehicles. 

MCSO says the bridge is under examination.
