Milwaukee woman killed after being shot, dragged by vehicle near 27th and Congress

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say a woman was killed and a man injured in a shooting Friday, July 31.
Officers responded to the area near 27th and Congress around 10:50 a.m.
An initial investigation revealed that two people had been shot, and one of them -- a 49-year-old Milwaukee woman -- died, after also dragged by a vehicle.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
