MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett marked his final walk of the summer on Friday.
It is part of the “Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days” challenge.
Dozens of people joined Barrett in a celebration at Cathedral Square Park.
“We have gone to every single aldermanic district in the City of Milwaukee which I’m very, very proud of,” Barrett said. “We have had over 1,300 participants and 30 partnering organizations at all the events that we have had.”
Those in attendance received a free lunch.
