May Brings Brighter, Warmer Days Ahead

After coming off a drip, drab weekend, it may seem nice weather will never get here.  But it is.  In fact, much of the next ten days will be featuring high temperatures in the 50s and 60s.  Some of us could approach 70 or be in the 70s Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday respectively.  We have a few chances of rain as well.  We need some.  The deficit is more than 2 1/2 inches for the year.

When you look at the May averages, you notice a few things.  First off, the normal high for the start of the month is 60 degrees.  This number increase by 10 degrees for the end of the month.  May can be a rainier month with close to 3 1/2 inches.  And yes, we can even average a tenth of an inch of snow.  But who's counting?  Right?
