MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Who knew a children's book could be the focus of a temporary exhibit at Milwaukee Area Technical College's Create Gallery?

Both the literature and exhibition are called "Magical Black Tears: A Protest Story" and is geared toward children ages four through twelve.

It aims to serve as a way to generate a discussion for making "a more just society" for Black people. The interactive setup allows visitors to watch films, read, write, create and problem-solve in a fun setting. The ultimate goal is to help rid the world of racism.

There is a special kick off to the exhibit on Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. "Magical Black Tears" can be seen throughout the month of February. Admission is free, but a ticket for entry is required.
