Masked and Armed Men Allegedly Stole over $16,000 in Jewelry from Racine Residence

Three masked individuals armed with firearms allegedly entered a residence in Racine and demanded money on March 14.

Mario Chagoya has been charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of false imprisonment, three counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety, one count of battery, one count of burglary and one count of possession of firearm by a felon.

According to a criminal complaint, one of the victims said believed they entered the home through the back door.  

The criminal complaint said the three men placed three residents in plastic hand restraints and led them to the upstairs area.

The masked men threatened to kill the residents.

Two chains worth $16,600 were stolen and $7,000 cash was taken.

One of the victims said Mario had been over to the residence three days prior with his cousin. In that incident he allegedly had been pistol whipped and shot at by Mario.
