MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The debate over masks in schools flared up in Milwaukee County Wednesday night, May 12.
Parents and kids held a small rally outside the school board meeting in Franklin.
Inside the meeting, they had a chance to speak their minds directly to board members.
"You guys have a responsibility to do the right thing, to follow the Constitution and the rule of law," said one parent. "You are not above it."
Franklin's Board of Education President Mike Spragg says the district will plan on requiring masks at the start of the next school year, but that plan has not yet been finalized.
