Martial arts students take over Brookfield East High School

Hundreds of martial arts students of all ages gathered for a tournament of champions in Brookfield Saturday.

Students from all across the Midwest came to compete and show off their moves. Organizers say this sport has something for everyone, no matter their age.

\"It's not like the old days where it was rock 'em sock 'em,\" Head instructor Chan Lee said. \"But a wonderful way for people to develop body mechanics for younger kids and then for older people to develop strength and stability back in their bodies using martial arts.\"

While it looks like many of the participants are kids -the oldest person competing was 87 years old.
