Marquette golf signs top-ranked Lyons and Kilburn

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Top-ranked boys golfers Max Lyons and P.A. Kilburn signed National Letters of Intent to join the Marquette University men's golf program for the 2021-22 campaign, the university announced Wednesday, Nov. 11.

According to a news release, the pair is among the top-60 boys golfers in the high school class of 2021, and Lyons is one of the highest-ranked recruits in program history at No. 14 among all senior boys golfers.

"The foundation of Marquette Golf is highlighted by our culture and it was very clear throughout the recruiting process, that Max and P.A. personify championship traits that will strengthen our team," MU head coach Steve Bailey said in a news release. "Their success, in life, school and golf, has beer a byproduct of their strong family values and a passion to improve."
