MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A popular pub in downtown Milwaukee hopes its new flights of margaritas will take off for Cinco De Mayo.

The Newsroom Pub launched a brand new flight of four margaritas on Thursday, May 5.

The flight includes mango, strawberry, pineapple and classic lime for only $10.

They also have taco specials for $4 each and a choice of house-smoked chicken, carnitas pork or fried or grilled cod.

The tacos are served with pineapple slaw, black bean corn salsa and chipotle aioli on flour tortillas. If margaritas aren’t on the mind, guests can sip on a Modelo Chelada or a Paloma for $5 each.

CBS 58 spoke with both GM Nick Dillon and Manager Arlene Kirk about the new additions.

The Newsroom Pub will also host karaoke on Cinco De Mayo.

The pub is known for it's historic scenery. On the walls you'll find dozens of signatures of U.S. Presidents and journalists in Milwaukee. On Thursday, they added CBS 58's own Alex Corradetti's name to the wall.

The pub opens daily at 11 a.m. and the bar closes at 10 p.m. Thursday night.
