Man wounded in head in Thursday morning shooting

The Milwaukee Police are investigating the shooting of a 44-year-old man this morning on Milwaukee’s south side.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time.   According to the Police, the man was shot just before 8 AM in the area of S 14^th Street and W Greenfield Avenue.   The man received a gunshot wound to the head, but was conscious and breathing when he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.   The wound has been termed non-life threatening.   The MPD is continuing to search for suspects and seek a motive in the shooting.
