UPDATE: All clear issued after report of man with gun on UW-Madison campus

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An all clear has been posted. UW-Madison Police say the situation at the Law Library is over and there is no threat to campus.

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- UW-Madison is asking everyone on campus to find a safe location after a report of man with a gun on campus.

The alert tweet was sent out by the University around 11:45 a.m.

UW-Madison Police say there is an unconfirmed report of a man with a gun at the Law Library located at 975 Bascom Mall.

Police officers are on scene.
