Man With 3 Kids in Car Crashes after Smoking Marijuana and Taking Pain Meds

On Saturday, at about 3:00 AM, Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-car injury crash on I-94 southbound at W. College Avenue. 35-year-old Kyle C. Rannow, of Racine, said another vehicle cut him off causing him to hit that car which hit the wall and landed on its side.

Rannow admitted to smoking marijuana and taking pain medication before driving. Of the four passengers in his vehicle, there were three children including a 2-month-old aa 4-year-old and an 8-year-old. None of the passengers were injured. Rannow was transported to the hospital for head and body pain, and arrested for DUI-3rd offense.

The driver of the vehicle that Rannow struck told police Rannow drifted into his lane and hit him, causing him to hit the wall. 

The victim vehicle and his three passengers were transported to the hospital for minor injuries and released.
