MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police say a 37-year-old man was stabbed around 8 p.m. on Wednesday near North Ave. and Newhall St. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
Police are investigating the stabbing and searching for a suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A stabbing is currently under investigation in Milwaukee.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, a man was stabbed in the head outside of the 7-11 located near North Avenue and Newhall Street.
It happened around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
The victim was taken to a local hospital. There is currently no word on his condition.
Milwaukee Police have not said what led up to the stabbing.
