Man seriously injured in overnight shooting

MILWAUKEE—A man is recovering from a serious gum shot wound after being shot overnight.
Police said that the 32-year-old victim was with a group of individuals near 43rd and Good Hope shortly before 2:00 a.m. Saturday.
A suspect displayed a handgun and fired several shots striking the victim.
The victim suffered a serious, but non-life threatening injury.
Police said that the motive for the shooting is still under investigation at this time.
