Man sentenced for abusive sexual contact of a child on Menominee Indian Reservation

(CBS 58) – A 25-year-old Keshena man was sentenced Wednesday to 200 months in prison and 20 years of supervised release after being convicted of abusive sexual contact of a child.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Ricki Mahkimetas Jr. engaged in sexual contact with a girl under the age of 12 on the Menominee Indian Reservation.

Further investigation found that Mahkimetas had sexual contact with at least two other Native American girls under the age of 12.

The Menominee Tribal Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the case.
