Man Saved by Narcan 4 Hours after Graduating 2-Year Drug Treatment Program

On Tuesday, December 6 at 7:09 PM, Caledonia Police officers were dispatched to the 430 3 Mile Road, for a possible overdose. Officers discovered an unresponsive man with no pulse and began CPR.

Officers administered two doses of Narcan and noticed the man take a breath and were able to locate a pulse. Caledonia Rescue responded and took over lifesaving efforts. The man was transported to Wheaten Franciscan Hospital and was subsequently admitted.

The man had just graduated from a two year drug treatment program four hours before the incident.

The Man was arrested for Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
