Man in custody following shooting on Milwaukee’s north side

A 43-year-old man is in custody following a shooting on Milwaukee’s north side Monday. The Milwaukee Police report the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries following the shooting in the area of N 85th Street and W Brown Deer Road. The shooting happened around 5:50 PM Monday. The MPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
