31-year-old seriously injured in stabbing near Brady and Warren

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 31-year-old was hospitalized with serious injuries after a stabbing Thursday evening near East Brady Street and North Warren Avenue.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the stabbing happened shortly before 5 p.m. at a business near the intersection.

Police say the stabbing stemmed from a fight that followed an argument.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A 31-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene. Criminal charges are expected to be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

The incident remains under investigation.
