GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee man is facing a number of charges after Glendale Police say he drove away from them in reverse.
According to a criminal complaint, 24-year-old Dushawn Vaden stole nearly $200 worth of cigarette lighters from the Speedway on Green Bay Avenue.
When an officer confronted him, the complaint says Vaden got into a car, drove into a squad car and then backed out of the parking lot.
He kept driving in reverse until officers used a PIT maneuver to stop the car.
Vaden got out and ran away and was arrested after a short chase.
