Man dies after being hit by train in Dodge County

A man is dead after being hit by a train in Dodge County. The sheriff's office say the incident happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday near STH 49 and Windhover Road in Lomira.
The preliminary investigation shows that a 20 year old male was on the tracks and was struck by a southbound train, dying from his injuries. The circumstances are currently under investigation. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
The incident remains under investigation by the by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Canadian National Railroad Police.
