It involved the man charged with killing a nurse practitioner in the Froedtert Hospital parking garage.
Kenneth Freeman was brought into court in a wheelchair on Friday morning. Not long after, he began screaming a slew of profanities as his attorney tried to speak to the judge.
Freeman was immediately removed from the courtroom.
The Defense Attorney proceeded to ask for a competency exam and the judge ordered one.
Freeman is accused of killing Froedtert Nurse Practitioner Carlie Beaudin. Authorities say he attacked her as she was walking to her car in a parking garage at Froedtert.
Freeman had worked as a valet at Froedtert.
The hospital says he was fired in October for non-violent reasons.
