MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee County man is charged after trying to bring a BB gun to the Waukesha County Courthouse.
According to a criminal complaint, Curtis Dauer was stopped by deputies when the courthouse X-ray machine revealed a gun in his briefcase.
Dauer told deputies he forgot the gun was in the case. He is a convicted felon and said he wasn't sure if he could have a BB gun. The complaint did not say whether the gun was loaded.
