Man becomes combative with Sheriff's Deputies on Hoan Bridge

An incident on the Hoan Bridge led to a man becoming combative when encountered by Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office Deputies.

The Deputies responded to reports of a man trying to flag down other drivers Saturday morning before 9 a.m. It is unclear why he was trying to flag down other drivers because his car was not disabled.

When Deputies arrived at the scene, the man became combative and started running. He was pursued and captured a short time later. 

The suspect was transported to the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division for evaluation. During the incident, one Deputy from the Sheriff's Office sustained a minor knee injury.
