Man arrested for stealing cigarettes from West Allis Walgreens

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 34-year-old Milwaukee man is facing a charge of felony retail theft after stealing $814 worth of cigarettes from a West Allis Walgreens.

According to a criminal complaint, Zeuntre Robinson went inside the Walgreens on W. Greenfield Ave. on November 3 and asked the cashier for cigarettes. Court documents say after giving the cashier his birthdate, Robinson proceeded to go behind the counter and put several cartons of cigarettes into a plastic bag.

As the cashier was calling a manager, Robinson left the store without paying for the items.

West Allis Police eventually tracked Robinson down by the his birthdate that he provided to the cashier.
