Deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office saw a Jaguar stopped at a flashing red stop light at 86th and Good Hope Road. The vehicle was running in drive, and the operator appeared to be asleep with his foot on the brake.
A deputy was able to wake the driver up and put the car in park.
As the deputy began to have the driver perform field sobriety tests, he fled the scene on foot. He was caught one block away.
Larome Walls, 44-years-old, has four prior convictions for drunk driving.
He was arrested for his 5th Offense OWI and will also be charged with Obstructing/Resisting and Possession of Marijuana.
If convicted on all charges, Walls faces up to ten years and nine months in prison.
