Man Arrested After Huffing Cool Whip and Punching Pick 'n Save Employee in the Head in West Bend

A man from Slinger was arrested after huffing cool whip containers and punching a Pick n Save employee in the head.

According to West Bend Police, the incident happened on Tuesday at 5:15 PM.

West Bend Police confirmed to CBS 58 it was Cool Whip in a can  not Reddi-Wip. 

The 37 year old suspect had allegedly selected several cans of spray Cool Whip and “huffed” the contents of the aerosol cans inside the business.

The man then selected food items and alcohol and left the business without paying for any of the merchandise.

A store employee confronted the man outside the business and was able to retrieve some of the merchandise the male had taken.

As the employee was returning to the business, the man approached the employee, pushed the employee and then punched the employee in the head.

Another employee and a citizen intervened, wrestling him to the ground and holding him down on the ground until police arrived. The male was arrested for Robbery with Use of Force, Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Abuse of a Hazardous Substance.
