Man accused of secretly recording girls dies from severe burns

WAUKESHA -- The Waukesha Fire Department confirms 34-year-old Michael Coyle died as a result of burn injuries sustained in a house fire. Coyle was pronounced dead by staff at Columbia St. Mary's Burn Center on February 26th.


Coyle's home on the 1000 block of Motor Ave. caught fire around 9:30 p.m. on February 14th. Fire crews found a badly burned Coyle outside his home. Flight for Life transported Coyle to Columbia St. Mary's Hospital on Milwaukee's east side.


The Waukesha Fire Department says their investigation into this house fire is ongoing. 


Coyle was facing criminal charges related setting up a hidden cameras to record teenage girls at Swimtastic Swim School in Waukesha. He was an instructor when he allegedly set up the cameras at the swim school.
