Man, 3 dogs safely escape house fire in Town of Addison

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man and his three dogs were able to safely evacuate after a house fire.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office was notified of a house fire in the 6200 block of Linden Drive around 9:50 p.m. on May 31.

The homeowner called to report that smoke was coming from his attached garage followed by flames. 

The residence sustained severe damage due to the fire, smoke, and water. Preliminary damage estimates were believed to be around $200,000.

No one was injured in the fire.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the origin of the fire may be a vehicle that was recently driven and parked in the attached garage of the home.
