MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Dubbed as "the greatest show and tell on earth" the Maker Faire returns to Milwaukee this weekend for a sixth year.
The family-friendly event welcomes makers - tech enthusiasts, inventors, crafters and educators of all ages – to showcase their work and share their knowledge and skills with others in the community.
Organizers say the Faire also exhibits the “maker movement”, a growing global community of do-it-yourselfers that is pushing the boundaries of creativity, product development and manufacturing through technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Maker Faire takes place at the Wisconsin center and runs Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Admission to the event is free.
