MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As early voting kicks off in Wisconsin ahead of the April 1 election, local leaders held a news conference to discuss the important topic of reproductive freedom in this election.
Activists, alders, and Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson joined Tuesday, March 18, at the War Memorial Center as they continue to voice their support for Susan Crawford and denounce the agenda of her opponent Brad Schimel.
Ahead of the April 1 election, Mayor Johnson continued to push voters to get to the polls, either during early voting or on Election Day.
"Make sure you have a plan, make sure you vote, make sure that you stand up for the women and the girls in your life, that's exactly what I'm doing with my vote," Johnson said.
Both candidates will continue to court voters ahead of Election Day.
