Madison Woman Awoken to Gun Shot in Bedroom

A woman in Madison was sleeping in her bedroom in a house on the 4200 Bl Wanetah Trl when a handgun round entered the bedroom through an exterior and stuck the bedroom door before falling to the ground.
According to the release from police, there were no injuries.
No suspect info at this time and the case is under investigation.
It does not appear the victim or residence was specifically targeted.
