MADACC's "Home for the Holidays" Ends Tuesday

Tuesday is your last chance to adopt an animal from Milwaukee Area Domestic Control Commission without having to pay the adoption fee. Through the entire month of December, MADACC has waived the adoption fee on all of its animals. The goal is to get 150 animals into their forever homes in time for the holidays.

Additionally, Wisconsin Humane Society waived adoption fees for animals that have transferred from MADACC to their facility. WHS is MADACC's largest transfer partner. "Home for the Holidays" is the organizations' first joint holiday promotion.

Waived adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. A $12 license fee will apply for all Milwaukee County residents.

MADACC is encouraging interested adopters to complete a free and non-binding adoption application for pre-approval prior to coming to meet their new pet. Please drop off your application at MADACC, fax to 414-763-6234, or email to [email protected]. You can find the adoption application at http://www.madacc.org/files/MADACC_Adoption_Application.pdf .

MADACC is open Monday - Friday from 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday - Sunday 10 am to 5 pm, but is closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
