MADACC Searching for New Dog and Cat Beds

Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC), Wisconsin’s largest open-admission animal shelter, is asking for help to continue to improve the housing and comfort of the animals at MADACC, according to a release from the organization. MADACC is immediately starting a drive for Kuranda Beds for the dogs and cats in the shelter to sleep on. MADACC needs 175 dog beds and 100 cat beds to insure that every dog or cat in the shelter is warm and comfortable.

MADACC, which has been undergoing a large animal housing improvement project, has upgraded and expanded the dog and cat kennels. Kuranda beds are beds specifically designed for shelters, they are easy to clean and durable. More importantly, the beds elevate the dogs and cats off the bottom of the kennel, providing orthopedic support, comfort, and warmth.

Donating a Kuranda bed is a great way to help a shelter pet, especially if you are not able to adopt or volunteer. Donating a bed is easy and can be completed online in about 5 minutes. To donate, go to https://kuranda.com/donate/13158. Beds are shipped for free directly to MADACC and you can sleep soundly tonight knowing a shelter pet is also comfortable thanks to you generosity!
