Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Second Chance
MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- There are now 90 animals with new and loving homes thanks to Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission's 'Empty the Shelter' event.
All of the adoptable dogs that were in the shelter on Saturday were adopted out.
All adoption fees for dogs and cats were waived during the event thanks to a $5,000 grant.
If you weren't able to make it out but still want to adopt a cat -- the shelter has good news for you.
The shelter says new animals arrive all the time, so if you'd like to adopt a dog just keep checking back.
