WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Family, friends, and the community came together to remember Steven Berger, the Wauwatosa native who was killed in the Las Vegas shooting last month.
"When I think about Steve, I think about him being there when it really mattered and even when it didn't."
Berger graduated from Wauwatosa West High School and was living in the Twin Cities at the time of his murder.
He was in Las Vegas celebrating his birthday when he was killed by a lone shooter along with 57 others.
Berger was married with three children.
