Lomira Police searching for owners of dog killed by train

LOMIRA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Lomira Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying the owners of a dog found killed by a train.

The Lomira Police Department and the Canadian National Railroad Police took a report of a dog that was struck by a train south of the Lomira Municipal Complex.

It happened on Monday around 3:30 p.m.

It was later determined that the dog was deceased.

The deceased dog was found without a collar. The dog is described as a female pitbull, brownish gray in color with one paw that is all white.
