Local restaurateurs cook meals for charities in 3 Days of Christmas program

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's restaurant community is giving back to local charities.

It's part of Milwaukee Kitchen Cabinet's "3 Days of Christmas."

Chefs have been cooking meals for charities this week. On Friday night, they will cook at Life Navigators, an organization that helps improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.

"In addition to highlighting and showcasing all of our great restaurateurs and what they do, this is also an opportunity to highlight and showcase all the non-profits and the work that they do," said Wauwatosa Mayor Kathy Ehley.

3 Days of Christmas has served 500 people with meals, gifts, and winter clothing over the past two years.
