MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Roxz's Resources & Awareness is offering help via its food pantry every day for families impacted by the ongoing government shutdown and SNAP benefit cuts.
Vicky Van Lare, founder of Roxz's Resources & Awareness, joined us Wednesday, Nov. 5 to talk about the work being done to assist pet owners.
The organization aims to keep as many pets out of shelters and off the streets as possible, according to Van Lare.
Roxz's runs on donations and needs help to keep up with increased demand. Click here for more details about how to help.
