Local Man Allegedly Stole $10,000 Cash from Gas Station

A man is accused of stealing $10,000 cash from a BP Gas Station in the Village of Caledonia.

James Schneck is charged with felony theft of a business.

The manager of the gas station said Schneck was a handyman at the station.

The station had received a large amount of cash and money orders following some car auctions.

According to the criminal complaint, surveillance video shows the defendant taking several large bundles of cash from a cash box.
