Milwaukee family’s holiday tradition of giving lives on
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Affordable housing was once again in the spotlight in Milwaukee on Friday, Aug. 30.
Congresswoman Gwen Moore and local leaders discussed Vice President Kamala Harris' plan to lower housing costs.
They talked about how her plan would impact homeowners in Milwaukee and Madison.
Part of Harris' plan is to build three million new homes in the next four years.
Moore criticized Former President Donald Trump's plan to fix the affordable housing crisis, while highlighting Harris' plan.
"Kamala Harris and Tim Walz represent more than anything a more family oriented, community-oriented strategy, not just corporate triple down, hoping and praying that that strategy will empower our community," said Moore.
Moore and other Wisconsin leaders also held the Lowering Housing Costs press conference in Madison.
