Local Dance Studio Teaching how to Dance Like in "La La Land"

The film "La La Land" is certainly putting some pep in the step of locals.

The film hauled in a record breaking number of Golden Globe Awards.

Local Fred Astaire Dance Studios, in the Third Ward, are standing by as interest in dance is re-ignited.

“No matter whether you're planning to get ready for a wedding, or you want to dance at your child's wedding. or you want to do this for the next 25 years, this is a great place to come,” said Kate Lorenz, Jefferson.

Kate says she likes that there are private lessons where the instructor focus on what each dancer needs to get that Hollywood flare wherever you might trip the light fantastic.
